Origin of Popcorn, Aztecs?

What could make history more fun to learn than a pertinent question like "Where did popcorn come from?"  Long ago and not so far away, in the land of our southern neighbors, it is recorded that the Spanish first saw the Aztec civilization using popcorn.  Not only to eat as a treat, but also to decorate their crowns!  Watch this quick simple video, only a minute long, that brings us these interesting facts.

Kindergarten News, March 18, 2011

All things are possible in kindergarten!  We have made passport photos and printed our tickets and on Wednesday our class took off for a month in Mexico!  Our first day there we have chosen/adapted our names to a Spanish version, that we would be called if we lived in a Mexican family.
